Lights, concept, action! Here's a look behind the scenes of my work in costume, film, and creative production. From styling to shooting, every project reflects my hands-on approach and love for storytelling through visuals.
PRODUCTION
Over the course of my developing career, I’ve studied the art of costume design and production, and contributed to student-led short films, fashion films, photoshoots, and a music video. I continue to immerse myself in the world of entertainment, always learning, evolving, and creating.
In the projects below, my roles have included Costume Designer, Stylist, Photo Assistant, Pre- and Post-Production Crew, Producer, and Director of Photography. What you’re about to see is a glimpse into my creative process—from concept to completion. I invite you to explore thoughtfully and engage respectfully, as every piece reflects time, care, and/or collaboration.

Tracy, Trina, Triniti
Tracy, Trina, Triniti was the last film senior thesis I worked on at SCAD and it was extra special because it was written and directed by one of my best friends! TTT is a rom-com short film that acts as an ode to black tv and black love. This slide show includes photos of the final costumes, and beautiful detail shots.

The Graveyard Shift
The Graveyard Shift was the first film I worked on as a costume designer. Prior to workin on this film, I had not considered costume designing as a career path (the butterfly effect at work!!). This presentation includes pre-production, fitting photos, and film stills from the movie.

Nyota Providence
Nyota Providence is a senior VFX capstone project I participated in as the costume designer/stylist. Being one of the earlier projects I worked on, much of my documentation process was still being developed. I have added my costume pre-production process which includes research, sketching and mood boarding. There are also a few photos of the final costumes.

So Good
For this music video I was brought on as the stylist, collaborating with the director and the musical artist to bring a shared vision to life. I was tasked with creating each look worn by the female lead while staying within time and budget constraints.

05

iSPY
This collaborative photoshoot was cooked-up with the intent to be featured on the SCAD Manor blog (SCAD's student-led fashion publication). I held the position of costume designer/stylist and worked within very tight time and budget constraints to bring this whimsigothic take on the iSpy books of our childhood to life.

Pucci: A Fashion Shoot

Leather Manipulation
In this short presentation I dove into the Black is Beautiful movement that coincided with the Black Power movement of the 60's and 70's. I researched who the icons were during this era, what was being worn at the time, and how the movement continued to influence us all these years later.
